Add a calendar to your group so that you can create upcoming events and invite your friends to join (i.e. conferences, Bible study, church events, etc). Each event will have its own page showing the date and time of event, description, location, its own activity stream, and a list of attendees.

Keep the members of your group up to date by sending email updates.

Group Forum
Extend the community around your group by adding a forum.

Bookmarking
Add bookmarks to your favorite sites and users will have the ability to vote on your links as well as leave comments about your links.

Add Your Blog
A community of reformed bloggers would not be complete without the ability to showcase one’s blog. Add your blog’s RSS feed and your new posts will be updated in your group’s blog feed. (Note: It is best to create a group specifically for your blog, so that it will be easier for users to discern a regular group from a blog specific group.)
